Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

An upgrade item is a special item upgrader kit that can make certain Pokemon evolve. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc and can be offered as a reward in Pokemon GO events.

The Upgrade can also be put in armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools to increase their item level. The upgrade cost Flightstones and crests, dependent on the kind of item.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be placed into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to offer attribute bonuses or additional effects while the equipment is being used. The equipment being upgraded must have an available upgrade slot that can accept the component. Most upgrade components require the item upgrading being upgraded to be at the specified level. Some upgrade components have special visual effects that are visible when they are applied. Upgrade components can be acquired by crafting, purchased from karma sellers or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post or taken from equipment, or obtained as rewards during games.

A variety of upgrade components are available, each offering a different bonus. Universal upgrades, which include gems and inscriptions, are able to be used on any kind of equipment; they provide less bonuses than other types of upgrade components. Infusions are utilized in non-amulet equipment that is ascended and legendary equipment, while enhancements are utilized for certain ascended back items. Injecting an upgrade component can destroy the previous upgrade. There are exceptions for glyphs (which can only be inserted into gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and reinserted freely.

Insignias Enchantments, insignias, and upgrades with prefixes or suffixes will be displayed in the hover display of the item and they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will show the number of upgrade components that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements like ligatures, fractions, ornaments, swashes registered trademark symbols, and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel allows you to insert and examine these special characters, along with common symbols like em and en dashes, as well as trademark symbols registered to be used.

Each Glyph gives an initial boost in stats for the character. The glyph may also include up to four secondary stats which will affect its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost that is multiplied by additional bonuses, excluding Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.

Selecting the Glyphs and then clicking "enchant" will activate the Glyphs. This will open a window that shows the Glyphs available to you. Make sure you select the right kind of Glyph can be applied to the selected item, as every weapon, jewelry or armor piece has distinct sets of Glyphs.

Glyphs can be leveled up by running Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult a dungeon is, the more Glyph experience you will gain. Once a Glyph has reached the level 15 it can be upgraded using the Glyph upgrade items Altar. The radius of the Paragon Board grows by one node for every 15 levels at which a Glyph is upgraded.

Once a Glyph is upgraded to its desired level you can activate it by selecting it, then pressing the "enchant" button. The resulting glyph will provide its stated bonus and will also boost all the other nodes within its radius on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should be put in areas that will benefit your building the most. This is why you should prioritise Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs can also provide double bonus when certain conditions are satisfied.

If you're having difficulty finding a particular glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to display the panel in a variety of perspectives. Each of these views shows the Glyphs in a different font. You can narrow the selection of glyphs further by selecting an option below "Entire Font": for instance, punctuation shows only punctuation glyphs, while Math Symbols reduces the choices to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling is the process by which you create a new account to give yourself more opportunities to play a character or weapon that you are interested in. This can help you level up faster or to obtain more loot, for example, the Best item upgrader weapon for your current character. Many players will reroll until they have the characters they like, regardless of their power. It could be that they like the style or personality of the character.

When you reroll, you need to make sure that the changes you're making are safe. This means you should check locally that the patch passes the pre-commit checks and conduct a core development check. You should also upload the patch to an issue with a plain diff (see What about an interdiff? ).

Rerolls can take days or weeks to complete, based on your luck. To save time, avoid enemy camps that are not required during this period. Also, avoid repeating quests that can be completed later on in the game. This can save time and energy.

When rerolling, it's important to be aware of the upgrade system. There are many ways to improve your character's appearance and power. Upgrades, rerolling characters or upgrading weapons are all options. In addition, it is important to understand the limitations of the upgrade system.

Rerolling may not be necessary but it's an option to increase the chances of acquiring the right character or weapon. It is a great option if you're looking for the most effective character to play or if you're wanting to try different play styles and builds.

Sets

A set is an object collection that has 2 common attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen, or the members of a group). Sets can be used for operations such as intersection, union and distinction.

Upgrades make a set item better than before. For weapons and armor this means it will gain a higher base defense value and an lower strength requirement, and a lower level requirement.

Upgrades can bring items that are popular from single sets to parity with items in higher-end sets. Upgrades like Guillaume's Face Helm to Elite Spired helmet can increase the defense by 217 up to 321 and lower the strength requirements and level requirements to a more achievable range.

However it's important to remember that not all set items are good candidates for upgradation. Some sets, such as the FB Sorc spec's Whistan's Shield or Naj's Puzzler staff are already exceptional and elite in their own right and don't require any upgrades. Some items, such as Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are used frequently may be benefited by an upgrade to improve their performance. For such products, it might be worth the extra expense to upp them.
