5 The 5 Reasons Item Upgrade Is Actually A Good Thing
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the stats of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations used.
The elite racial Shield Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption function in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an acquired item like a weapon, armor or ring. The item is replaced by another item of the same type and comes with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't keep the original level of the item and any money wasted won't get compensated.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in chests and crates or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of a piece equipment for example, increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage that melee and weapons, while spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.
There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item upgrader mod, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next success result is rerolled. This helps you save upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop can trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These stones are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. They can also be obtained by players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, the player must first locate the item then click the "level up button". The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item upgrader to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. When the requirements have been satisfied, the user can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can take from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is also safe and doesn't impact the item upgrader mod's durability. This is an excellent choice for those who wish to get an edge in battle but don't want to spend a lot of money. Moreover players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are several methods to get the stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will receive an upgrade to a higher level. This process continues until the item reaches its highest level.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as an icon of blue next to their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components do not stack against each other, and can only be added to a single item at a time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a particular amount of items to be added in addition to an initial level for the equipment.
The upgrade item Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place items to be upgraded. On the right, a preview shows what the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when is a player has enough resources will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.
Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available to it. When an item reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to give an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Item upgrades give players the ability to increase certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently own. The requirements for upgrading an item will differ based on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium as well as an amount of Upgrade Tokens.
Item upgrade components can be used to make sets and weapons for extra effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained through a variety of sources in the game, including through crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been placed into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can boost the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire" on the other hand, increases weapon damage.
Certain items benefit from being upgraded less because of their improved stats and more because it lets players get the maximum amount of value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
When you select an upgrade component to be inserted into an Best item upgrader, the game will display an in-game window that lists the requirements required for that item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
