1. Roomba Q5 pro
The Q5 Pro, and its more expensive sibling the Q7 Max Series are among the most powerful robotic vacuums we have test. They feature top-of-the-line motors that can produce up to 5,500 Pascals of suction force. And, like other premium iRobot models (including the top pick) they employ smart mapping technology to design precise floor plans and eliminate home-based obstacles like cords and furniture legs. They also feature a feature called carpet boost that increases the robot's power when it sees an abundance of dirt on the carpet in order to get it cleaned quickly.
Both the Q5 and Q7 Max Series get very good scores in our tests on floors that are bare, and they're particularly adept at cleaning pet hair. However, they have some flaws that prevent them from being our top choice. One of the flaws of the Q5 is its navigation system does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance. It's thus susceptible to get stuck on shoes and socks and couldn't navigate through rooms with a lot of people well in our tests. It doesn't also have a camera that can see around corners.

It relies on disposable wet wipes, which don't stick well and isn't able to handle dried-on debris. The Q5 has a self-emptying cradle, however. And, if you need to, you can switch the mopping pad for dry ones in a matter of just a few seconds.

During testing during testing, the X30 Ultra was the fastest robot vacuum/mop to complete an entire house, finishing with the battery at 66 percent left. It did a good cleaning job on various flooring and rooms with different kinds of flooring, including certain area carpets. Its obstacle detection was top-of-the-line and it swiftly eluded fake dog socks, turds, shoes, and bundles of cables.
