It's therefore prone to get stuck on socks and shoes and couldn't navigate densely packed rooms very well in our tests. It also doesn't come with a camera that would let it see the corners of the room.

It's still a great option, especially if you want to save money on an Roomba from iRobot, and you have a mostly unfinished home or office. Additionally, it's quiet and can work while you're at work or school. The only thing it lacks that you won't find in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming of floors with no floor. It's also less effective in mopping, relying on disposable wet wipes, which don't stick on well and aren't able to deal with dried-on debris. It is able to clean floors even after it has vacuumed. This is a feature that we haven't seen on other robotic vacuum/mop combos.

3. IRobot Roomba X40

With an elegant circular design that appears like a regular Roomba rather than the boxy units This mop and robot vacuum is among the most appealing looking in our tests. The latest flagship model from iRobot is also among its most advanced. It features advanced features such as Enhanced Dirt Detection as well as future compatibility (another company's robot that can wash mop pads in a self-cleaning manner).

It's the only robotic vacuum/mop that has 100% in our evaluations thanks to a blend of high-tech sensors, which include a camera, structured light system and multiple lasers. 4. iRobot Roomba L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is the top-of-the best robot vacuum and mop. It comes with a variety of features that are advanced and will help you forget your chores. The L20 Ultra is a hands-free cleaner, similar to Ecovacs' top-of-the-range X2 Omni or Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra. It has a multifunction dock which automatically emptys the vacuum's bin and fills up the water tank, as well as washes and drys mop pads.
