10 Item Upgrade-Related Projects To Stretch Your Creativity
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can increase the performance of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied.
For instance, the premium shield of racial violence Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item, such as armor, weapon or rings. This allows you to swap the item for a different one of the same type and comes with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. However, they don't retain the same level as the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or upgrade items granting it a brand new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment into three categories three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require items that are either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains in the space until the next Success result is rerolled. This helps you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.
During the course of an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of chosen Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls and also those that are in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and other accessories. These stones are special stones that increase the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear, players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, they can hit the upgrade item button and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level by a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the longevity of the item. The system is an excellent option for players who wish to get an edge in battle but don't want strain their wallets. Furthermore, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for novice players. There are several ways to obtain them. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets you increase the stats of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It's done by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will use up the upgrade components and upgrade items grant the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that area. This process can continue until the item reaches its highest level.
Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon next to their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components don't stack against each other, and can only be added to one item at one time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a specific amount of items to be used, as well as an appropriate amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left one is where players can put in equipment that needs to be upgraded, and the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will appear like when it reaches its next level. Once a player has enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will begin the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. In the same way, once an item reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to that track will come with discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to give an added bonus or effect when the equipment is in use. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs, which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
The upgrades to items allow players the ability to boost certain stats of armor and weapons that they currently have. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the item type, but typically you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment set pieces and weapons for added effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be obtained from many sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade items component is inserted into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level or Rarity. In addition, certain upgrade components include additional modifiers that could further increase the stats of an item.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20% chance to block. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Certain items benefit from being upgraded less because of their improved stats and more for the fact that it lets players get the most value out of a perfect roll on the item upgrader kit. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
The game will highlight the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. These include the item type (either weapon or armor), the tier of that item, the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.
The game will add an item in your inventory after you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how close you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also track the status of an item upgrade items by visiting any NPC who upgrades items.
