The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are made available.

Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on an item for example, increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.

Players can reroll their equipment into three attributes that include physical power, magical power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage done by melee and weapons and spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give players additional health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher quality and requires a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

The reroll marker, unlike other special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next success is to be rerolled. This helps to prevent the waste of upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. To upgrade equipment players must first find the Best item upgrade they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. This will show a list of the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.

Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he is able to click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item upgrades's level by a specific percentage. Based on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.

The upgrade process is risk-free and doesn't affect the longevity of the item. This makes the system an ideal way for players to get an advantage in battle without straining their accounts. New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to acquire these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets you increase the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. If you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will show an open window that displays the necessary requirements. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.

The game will put an item in your inventory once you have fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how close to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
