1. Roomba Q5 Pro

The Q5 Pro, and its more expensive sibling the Q7 Max Series are among the most powerful robotic vacuums we've tested. They feature motors that are top of the class and can handle up to 5,500 Pascals. Similar to other iRobots that are premium (including the top model) they employ intelligent mapping to design precise floorplans that avoid obstacles such as cords and furniture legs. They also feature carpet boost, a feature that boosts the robot's performance when it detects the presence of dirt on the carpet in order to get it clean quickly.

Both the Q5 and Q7 Max Series get very good scores in our tests on floors that are bare They're also particularly adept in cleaning pet hair. However, they have some flaws that prevent them from being our top choice. One of the flaws of the Q5 is that its navigation system doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance. And, if you have to, you can switch the mopping pad to dry ones in a matter of just a few seconds.
