The Best robot vacuum uk robot cleaner with mop Hoover

The best robot hoover can mop and vacuum without needing your attention, and it will leave your floors clean. Its affordable price and high-end features (such as dirt detector) are a plus.

Make sure you regularly examine the brushes of your robot hoover and mop for hair tangled as well as large debris and clean them as needed. Some models can also automatically empty their dust bin on board into a larger bin in the base, which decreases the amount of fine dust released into the air.

1. Roomba Q5 Pro

The Q5 Pro and its sibling the more expensive Q7 Max Series, are among the most powerful robot vacuums we've test. They feature motors that are top of the quality and can suction up to 5,500 Pascals. And, like other top iRobot models (including the top-rated model), they use smart mapping technology to create detailed floor plans that avoid home-based obstacles like cords and furniture legs. They also come with carpet boost, a feature which boosts the robot's power when it detects a lot of dirt on the carpet, allowing it cleaned up quickly.

The Q5 and Q7 Max Series both scored very well in our tests on bare floors, and they are particularly adept in removing dog hair. They do have some flaws, however, that prevent them from being our first choice. One of the weaknesses of the Q5 is that its navigation system does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance. It's thus susceptible to become stuck on shoes and socks and couldn't navigate rooms with lots of people efficiently during our tests. It also doesn't come with an image sensor that lets it see the corners of the room.

It's still a great option to consider, particularly if you're looking to save money on an iRobot Roomba and you have a bare-floored home or office. It's also extremely quiet and works when you're at work or at school. It lacks the edge-to-edge bare floor vacuuming offered in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. And it's less effective at mopping, relying on disposable wet wipes that don't hold on for long and don't deal with dried-on debris. The Q5 does come with an auto-emptying dock, however. If you're required to clean the mopping pad, it can be swapped for a wet one in seconds.

2. IRobot Roomba

The iRobot Roomba X30 packs impressive vacuuming and mopping capabilities into an elegant, compact package. Its smart cleaning maps and nimble navigation make it easy to clean, and efficient in dealing with larger particles like pet hair. It also has self-emptying dustbins as well as powerful suction, and support for virtual boundaries. It's the most efficient robot hoover for carpets, though it's not as effective as some rivals in deep cleaning.

This top-performing mop and vacuum combo uses advanced sensor technology to dodge obstacles and pet waste and it also learns your home's layout over time for more efficient cleaning. The app lets you modify zones and alter the cleaning schedule. Its battery life is average when compared to similar models.

You can instruct the X30 Ultra to remove its mops and to extend them when in a room with carpet, which helps prevent cross-contamination. Its flex arm can also be utilized to reach under furniture that is low and along baseboards. However, it's not equipped with the same washboard performance as our other Editors' Choice picks, the Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo N8 Professional+ and the iRobot Combo j9+.

During tests, X30 Ultra was the most efficient robot vacuum that mops vacuum/mop which could complete the task of cleaning a whole home, with 66 per cent of its battery remaining. It also did a great job cleaning a range of rooms and floors with mixed flooring types, including certain area rugs. Its obstacle detection was superb, and it avoided fake dog turds, socks, shoes and bundles cables.

It's more expensive than the iRobot Combo v9+ and iRobot Roomba j9+, however, it comes with superior suction, a built-in dust bin that automatically fills up its base, and also supports voice commands using Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It can even clean the floor after vacuuming this feature, which hasn't been seen in other robotic vacuum/mop combos.

3. iRobot Roomba X40

With an elegant circular design that looks like a regular Roomba rather than the boxy units this mop and robot vacuum is among the most appealing looking in our reviews. The newest model from iRobot happens to be its smartest model, with features that are cutting-edge like Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology as well as future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can wash its own mop pads).

It's the only robotic mop or vacuum to score 100% in our tests thanks to a blend of high-tech sensors that include a camera, structured light system, and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra was the only robot we tested that could fill and empty its basestation on its own. It also boasted a suction of 12,000Pa and self-cleaning mops.

Like other iRobot models like the X40 is easy to use, offering an intuitive mobile app interface and integration with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, and Google Assistant. The only drawback is that it's loud that could be an issue if you use it in the morning prior to work, or at night when you try to fall asleep.

It's also quite expensive, but it's not as pricey as the Ecovacs Omni or the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra Both of which are equally capable and better-looking. This is a two-in-one vacuum that is very efficient however, it's going to cost you more and make more noise.

iRobot L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a top-of-the-range robot vacuum and mop, with many advanced features that will let you forget about your chores. The L20 Ultra is a hands-free cleaning device that is similar to Ecovacs top-of-the-line X2 Omni or Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra. It features a multi-functional dock that can automatically empty the vacuum's bin, refills the water tank, and washes and drys mop pads.

The smart robot utilizes LIDAR and structured lighting to map out floor plans and detect obstacles. It can navigate more efficiently than its competitors with premium features. It also comes with a front-mounted camera for real-time hazards detection, though this wasn't completely foolproof in our tests, and was often confused with power cords or obstructions.

The vacuum has a suction capacity of 7,000 Pascals which is more than enough to complete the task. It also comes with "Intelligent Dirt Detection", which regulates how hard the vac works and alters the frequency of cleaning for different areas of your home depending on how dirty they are.

If you have a larger home, it is worth selecting a model with a the option of cleaning zones or spots. This allows you to instruct the robot on which part of your home needs to be cleaned using the app or voice command. If you have lots of furniture, a stairway mode is also useful. Also, a recharge and resume function that allows your robot vacuum to take over exactly where it left off is great for busy families.

iRobot RX3

The RX3 is a smarter cleaner than you'd imagine from its price. It vacuums well and was able to remove 55% of debris in our tests. (It was second to the Roomba Q5 Pro). It also mopses using a single pad and a reciprocating movement which is cleaner than the majority of the robot mop cleaners that we've tested. It's also extremely self-sufficient, with a fully-featured application, and a self-emptying base that is washable.

The iRobot application is designed to guide you through the mapping process which collects information about your floorplan as well as any "no go" areas that you have marked on the map. It can be used to create cleaning schedules, or to organize the spot-cleaning. You can also use it to prioritize the most soiled areas to improve performance. The app offers a variety of features, such as seasonal suggestions, customized mapping, and advanced cleaning settings.

It can also reach corners and under furniture better because its shape is more rectangular. It is equipped with an impressive 8000 Pascal suction and intelligent combs to remove pet hair. You can also set up a spot cleaning that intensely cleans a localized area.

The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision HD offers a sleeker and less expensive alternative to iRobot Roomba. It has a more attractive, Dolce & Gabbana-esque design and its twin cameras look like cute eyes. It's good at vacuuming, but is more prone to be caught by low thresholds and is a bit more noisy than the other top robotic vacuums we've examined. It also has a less intuitive app and a tiny base station that isn't able to double as a bin for emptying.
