Best item upgrader upgrades are a common and essential way to boost the performance of many items in Path of Exile. They can cause additional damage, AD or even affixes.

Armor

Armor upgrades are a kind of upgrade that can be used on weapons and armor items. They improve the stats of the item that they are connected to. There are a few different kinds of armor upgrades that are available in the game and each one has distinct effects. Certain upgrades give armor an additional number of health points, while others make it lighter and more powerful. The type of armor upgrade that an Best item upgrade can get will be identified by the name of the upgrade as indicated in the table below.

It is normal to use more jewels for aesthetic reasons. In addition to improving performance, the jewels also create a surface that is harder than metal, which means that repeated friction with pivots doesn't damage them as easily.

In addition to the above upgrades players can also obtain glyphs for their weapons and shields from a Glyphmaster. The first trinket a player will unlock is the cloak. It provides a tiny, but useful bonus in speed of movement and the ability to escape. After that, they can acquire rings, amulets, and necklaces in the same manner to the way a player obtains armor and weapons. Each piece of equipment has a slot for an upgrade that is either universal or jewel. Universal upgrades offer fewer benefits and can be placed in any kind of equipment while jewelry cannot be replaced or upgraded and is only compatible with specific types of trinkets.

These trinkets provide additional buffs and abilities that are active when the hero isn't engaged in combat. This allows a hero to be more efficient when they are not active.
