WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a an increase in certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of an item upgrader mod by 3. Each upgrade also boosts an unspecified substat.

The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless it has low requirements by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as useful for the latter due to the requirement to roll a perfect version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. However, the item used to upgrade will remain in use for a long time and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in every major city, and can be accessed at any time to upgrade your gear. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader once every couple of weeks to ensure that your equipment is up to date.

Upgrades can cost more based on the item level, but they will always be cheaper than buying new gear. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest up to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade weapon, armor, tool and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased from item upgrade upgraders NPCs for a variety of currencies. They can also find them on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any tool, weapon, or armor. The button will show the item's next upgrade level, if there are enough materials.

The cost of upgrades varies based on the item slot and the current item level Upgrade level as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than gloves or bracers, for instance. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with some upgrades offering discounts to reduce the cost of the Flightstones or the crests used. Once an item is upgraded to a certain level, it can be downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower cost.

Many locations offer item upgraders which include the main island and a few outposts. The NPCs offer an upgrade coupon and the possibility of obtaining an entirely new recipe. The upgrade discount increases according to the number of items that are being upgraded. It is also possible to be increased by having players complete some specific achievements or complete quests.

In contrast to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II is no upgrader for items available at the beginning of Icewind Dale. The NPCs who are able to facilitate upgrades are only accessible through a variety means. This is both a positive and an issue.

In Season 3, many new features were added to the upgrade system. When a player has an upgrade to a particular level for an item in an armor slot, upgrading other items to the same level will be less expensive, even when they are part of a different gear set.

The discount applies to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests needed to upgrade is also reduced and is not available until players reach certain achievement milestones.

Crests

When it comes to upgrading equipment in WoW, players have a couple of options. Flightstones are an item that is available to all players for upgrading. Crests are more specific and are used for specific item level upgrades. Crests are an important part of the Dragonflight Gear Progression System, which was introduced in version 10.1. They are available in four ranks.

The first thing to note is that crests are only able to be used to purchase gear of a specific rank, and every rank has different requirements for its upgrade path. The simplest and simplest upgrade path costs 15 crests, while the more complex one requires as many as 20 crests depending on the type of equipment that is being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by completing content at the appropriate level. This could mean doing outdoor activities or taking on dungeons and raids of any difficulty to earn lower-tier gear or Mythic+ raid bosses or dungeons with a heroic difficulty for endgame gear. The crests can later be exchanged at an item upgrader mod upgrader NPC, such as Cuzolth in Dornogal or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to obtain the appropriate upgrade routes and steps.

Using these new currencies isn't too complicated however, the system introduces some changes to the overall upgrade process. When a piece reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it will no longer require Flightstones. This change is designed to allow players to upgrade their equipment up to the highest possible ilvl on all their characters instead of relying only on seasonal loot.

Another significant change is that crests only have one usage therefore it's essential to use them properly. It's best to put your Whelpling-rank Crests on the highest-quality gear you can locate, and keep Drake and Wyrm Crests for the next round of upgrades. This is especially true for items like rings and trinkets that fill multiple slots on the character, which can only be eligible to benefit from the account-wide discount when all slots are filled with high-quality equipment.
