The Little-Known Benefits To Item Upgrade
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its stats base and often increases its other features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations are applied.
For instance, the premium racial shield Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired like an armor, weapon, or rings. This replaces the item with an identical item, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
The survivors can get tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests, or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of an item such as increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll their equipment in three aspects: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage of melee and weapons attack, while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a better quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a common item upgrading. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces, remains on the space until the next success is being rerolled. This helps you save upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the beginning of every preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. Once they're opened they will display a complete description and an icon for the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's store will exchange blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
As a result, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that boost an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. These stones can also be obtained by players who sign daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. The screen will show a summary of the item upgrader's levels and what it will become after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade items the item. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade, the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. When the requirements have been satisfied, the user can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the durability of the item. This is an excellent choice for those who wish to get an edge in battle but don't want to strain their wallets. Clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item onto a new piece of gear.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for novice players. There are many ways to acquire these stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally, players can break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players boost the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will gain an upgrade to a higher level. This process continues until the item reaches its highest level.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as an icon of blue next to their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components don't stack against each other, and can only be added to a single item at one time. Each upgrade component requires an amount of items and a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left one is where players can put in a piece of equipment to be upgraded, while the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will look like once it is at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when the player has enough materials will start the upgrading process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level, its upgrades will not be available for it. When a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will come with discounts.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be put into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to offer an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
Items upgrades enable players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item vary depending on the type of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
Items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide additional effects or an increase in quality of the item. The upgrades can be acquired through a variety of sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade element is placed in an item upgrader Kit it can't be removed and replaced freely, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without restrictions.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases the base defense and provides an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players when they get a perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and can be worth up to 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
When you select an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will display an in-game window that lists the required requirements. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
If you've fulfilled the conditions for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to show how close to completing it. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
