If You ve Just Purchased Item Upgrade ... Now What
WoW Upgrades - The item level upgrade (use king-wifi.win here) Upgrader
Upgrades give you an increase in specific statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of the item by +3. A random substat is also increased with every upgrade.
The more modernized gear generally has a greater value for trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or a very high stat variation (like eth titan weapons). The latter see less value from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect model.
Recycle Points
The item upgrader allows players to upgrade gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and cannot be used again. Upgrades can also be used to create enhancements.
You can upgrade your gear at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To ensure that your equipment is up-to-date it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every several weeks.
The cost of upgrading will be based on the current level of the equipment being upgraded, but will always be cheaper than buying new gear from other sources. For instance, upgrading a chest piece from Benthic to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points, while buying a similar item upgrade from another player will cost 105.
Valorstones
Upgrades are useful items that are used to upgrade weapons, tools, armor, and accessories. They are purchased by players from NPCs who sell upgrades for items in exchange for various currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be used on any weapon or tool with an button, which displays an item's preview at the next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.
Upgrade costs differ based on the slot for the item and the current item level. For example weapons are more expensive than bracers, or gloves. Each upgrade costs 15 Flightstones plus a specific number of crests. Certain upgrades provide discounts on Flightstones. Once an item is upgraded to a certain level, it can be degraded and returned to the upgrader for a lesser amount of both currencies.
Upgraders for items are available at many locations on the main island, as well as a few outposts. The NPCs offer both an upgrade discount as well as a chance to acquire a new upgrade recipe. The upgrade discount increases depending on the amount of items that are being upgraded, and can be increased by having players complete specific achievements or quests.
Contrary to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II is no upgrader for items at the beginning of Icewind Dale. The NPCs who are able to facilitate upgrades are only available through a variety of methods. This is both a benefit as well as an issue.
In Season 3, the upgrade system was tweaked a bit, with several new features added. After an upgrade has been completed to a specific level for an armor slot upgrading other items to the same level, will cost less. This is even if the items are from a different set of gear.
The discount is applicable to all accounts. Similarly, the amount of Harbinger Crests needed to upgrade is also reduced and is not available until players reach certain achievement milestones.
Crests
Players have a number of choices when it comes to upgrading their equipment in WoW. Flightstones are an option that is accessible to all players for upgrading. Crests are more specific and are utilized during specific item level upgrades. Crests are a key element of the Dragonflight gear progression system, which was introduced in 10.1, and come in four ranks.
First, you must be aware that Crests are only available to equipment of a certain rank. Each rank has an upgrade path that is different. The easiest and most straightforward upgrade is 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade requires up to 20 crests, based on the kind of equipment being upgraded.
Players can earn crests by working through tasks at the appropriate level. This could mean engaging in outdoor activities or completing dungeons and raids in all difficulty levels to obtain equipment of lower tier or Mythic+ raid bosses or dungeons with a heroic difficulty to obtain endgame gear. The crests can then be exchanged with an item upgrading upgrader like Cuzolth or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to upgrade the item in the proper steps and pathways.
The new currency system isn't difficult to use, but it does bring some modifications to the upgrade process. When a piece has reached the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it will no longer require Flightstones. This allows players to upgrade their gear to the highest possible ilvl on all their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.
It's also essential to use crests in a wise manner, as they have only one purpose. For instance it's a good idea utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests on the Best item upgrader equipment available, and then keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next round of upgrades you're planning to create. This is especially true for items like rings and trinkets that take up multiple slots on the character which will only be able to benefit from the account-wide discount when all slots are filled with high-quality gear.
