World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Item upgrades are a key part of gearing up your character. Upgrades boost damage to items and enchantments.

They also offer bonuses and improvements. The Blacksmith can sell them to you.

Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Every recycled item adds one level to the gauge for upgrading.

Weapons

When a weapon is upgraded, it gets an initial damage bonus as well as a scaling factor which affects other stats. Certain upgrade components have aesthetic effects while others give additional benefits. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools, and trinkets. The majority of them require that the equipment is equipped with an upgrade slot and meets certain requirements. When a weapon or armor piece features an upgrade item component within it, it is able to be upgraded but the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be recovered using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a high-end salvage tool on the item it self.

In addition to the standard upgrades, a weapon may be upgraded using an attribute called Calibration that increases certain stats such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon the process can be repeated up to four times.

Once the weapon is at maximum upgrade, it can be reforged with a number of different upgrade types to improve certain stats or add bonuses and effects. Several of these upgrades can be used at once, and the effects are based on the rarity of the weapon.

There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area as well as Smithing Master Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. The upgrade item materials are both different: Smithing Stones to modify the damage weapons deal and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.

In general, it's Best item upgrade to increase the damage of your weapon first. Then you can increase your armour defense and, finally, the secondary stats required by your build. In particular, it's common to see melee druids enhancing their weapon prior to any other gear, as this can increase DPS. This is especially true for enchantments that can boost a weapon's stats and damage.

Armor

Item Upgrades let players increase the stats base of certain pieces of armor trinkets, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. These upgrades can also have additional effects such as increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, or in loot drops, or as rewards for quests.

The armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currency. Most armor will upgrade to the next level following an upgrade. This is the case for most types of armor, however certain items are not upgradeable at all (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island).

The majority of armor upgrades boost the item's defense or strength by only a tiny amount. However, certain upgrade components can give significant improvements in defense or strength, particularly when upgrading an epic item.

Certain upgrades offer special abilities that can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be extremely useful in combat. For example they can increase the speed of attack or block. Some upgrades have passive effects that are useful for example, reducing damage while wearing armor, or increasing the chance to dodge an attack.

Upgrades to armor could require multiple attempts, based on the type. If a player is looking to upgrade Steelclash armor into Dragonscale and the first attempt will result in a brand new Dragonscale armor with an armor base defense of 59-67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor with an initial defense of 67-77 and so on.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this, they must visit each of the four locations referred to as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations houses an incredibly powerful fairy who can upgrade item one piece of armor for the player.

Contrary to what many believe, armor is not useless in The Division 2. Certain armors give a substantial boost to the reduction of damage from poison or curse, magic or fire. This makes them very valuable for certain types of builds. There are other ways to boost the stats of armor besides upgrading armor, such as using the engineer trait to increase armor penetrating or the challenger trait to decrease total weight.

Potion

By putting a potion in a brewing stand, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a different level of effects from the potion and is able to be repeated to unlock more potencies.

The potions also gain a custom color, which can be selected by the player using /give. The color affects the clouds that affect the area of effect as well as the arrows that are generated. In Bedrock Edition, the custom potion color also applies to the effects of the potion's particle effects.

The water bottle, mundane thick and awkward potions now have a new texture for brewing. Added potion of weakness and potion of healing in Creative inventory. There are lingering potions available that can be prepared using splash potions or dragon breath and a thick pot with the status effect Mining Fatigue (duration 4:00). This macabre trinket seems to be influencing the denizens of this maze which makes them more prevalent. At its current level it makes all kinds of mimic Xx more common, and gives each floor an X% chance to contain an ebony mimic. This trinket costs a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.

The magic from this enchanted scepter seems to affect the dungeon itself, making it more likely to create grass and water. At its current level, this trinket can make X% of floors become filled with grass or water, however it won't affect enchantments or glyphs, cursed weapons or armor, or items that are created to aid in the elimination of hazards.
