10 Unexpected Item Upgrade Tips
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
The upgrade of gear can increase its base stats and sometimes increases its other features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail for instance, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an acquired item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. This allows you to swap the item for another similar one with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for.
Survivors can obtain reroll tokens in several ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests, or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute on an item that could include increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional level of health.
There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a better quality. To create them, you need an upgrade level token for rerolling. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item upgrader, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left on the space until the next success result is rerolled. This helps to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of every preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grabbing on to them. Once they're opened, they display a full description and an icon for the relevant appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of money.
In the end, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This alters the blueprints that the restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and accessories. These stones are special stones that boost the value of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item then click the "level up button". This will display a menu showing the item's current level and what it will be when being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. Once the requirements are satisfied, the user can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the longevity of the item. This is an excellent option for players who want to gain an advantage in battle but don't want to spend a lot of money. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item to the new gear.
New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are many methods to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will receive a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item has been reached.
Items with upgraded stats will have a blue icon beside their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to one item at one time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a particular quantity of items to be used in addition to a minimum level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the first is where players can place a piece of equipment that they wish to upgrade, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will look like once it is at its next level. When a player has enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades will no longer be available for it. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for that track will have a discount.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can slot into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons in order to provide an extra effect or attribute benefit while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this will destroy the old upgrade.
Requirements
item upgrades (find out here) give players the ability to increase certain attributes of weapons and armor that they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the kind of item but generally, you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
Item upgrade components can be incorporated into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the level of the item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can boost the stats of the item.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense and provides an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Some items benefit from upgrading less because of their improved stats and more for the fact that it allows players to gain the maximum amount of value from a perfect roll on the item. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item upgrader mod. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
Once you've met the required requirements for an upgrade, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will be updated to indicate how close to completing the upgrade item. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
