Upgrades can boost the power of a piece and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations used.

Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an acquired item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. This swaps the current item for a different one of the same type and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable way to upgrade gear. They don't preserve the original level of the item, and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests, or purchased at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and the ring. Health upgrades give the player an additional level of health.
There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces, stays on the spot until the next Success is being rerolled. This lets you save upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.
The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the type of item upgrade (either weapon or armor) and the tier of that item as well as the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
