iRobot suggests that you clean the area in which the i3+ EVO vacuums prior to using it. This includes getting rid of any toys or other items it might come across. It's also recommended to keep the dustbin and filter clean so they don't become clogged with dirt. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is empty or the battery is depleted, it returns to the docking station and emptys the dirt into the docking station’s external dustbin. The Roomba i7+ can keep up to 10 floor plans and their names with Imprint Smart Mapping, a system that lets it create maps of rooms so that it can clean them more efficiently. It also works with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning tasks and direct your robot by voice or through the app.
The i7+ is faster and more agile in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also removed large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. The biggest benefit over the eufy, is its self-emptying dustbin that eliminates a major source of maintenance and cuts down on the cost of maintenance.
We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services that we used to instruct the robot to begin, stop or pause its cleaning routines and to move around the room and sweep an area. The biggest issue with the V10 is its sluggish run time. The tests conducted by CR show that its marketing claims of up to 60 minutes are not true. This is a standard battery-powered vacuum's run time. This is still enough to vacuum the majority of a home that's average size but not long enough to cover every area (though an additional run-through often can be effective). That's not to say this model isn't a good choice It's lighter and more mobile than the older cordless Dysons, and its vacuuming performance is significantly better on carpets with low pile.

The 694 is a basic robotic vacuum that's an excellent choice for those who don't have a lot of money to invest in the latest model of robot. It was able to pick up the majority of types of debris and sizes during our testing and often went over the same area many times for an efficient clean. The flat front of the unit allows to get into corners and along the edges of walls which is a nice feature.
Its navigation system is smart and uses iAdapt technology to steer clear of obstacles and help you navigate your home. However, it lacks the capabilities for mapping of more advanced models, including our top picks, the i3+EVO and j7+ Series. As a result, it may get stuck on things like phone cords and furniture that isn't in good condition, and often will run out of battery before making it back to its home base.
The Xiaomi Mi robot vacuum is superior to the Roomba 694 in all aspects in that it has fewer parts that require regular cleaning, is fitted with an allergen-trapping HEPA filter, incurs lower recurring costs, comes with more advanced automation capabilities and is more efficient in maneuvering itself.
