The Q5 Pro and its sibling the more expensive Q7 Max Series, are among the most powerful robot vacuum cleaners uk vacuums we've examined. They feature top-of-the-line motors that can pull up to 5,500 Pascals of suction force. Similar to other iRobots that are premium (including the top model), they use intelligent mapping to design precise floor plans and eliminate household obstacles like furniture legs. The robots also come with Carpet Boost, a feature which boosts its power when it detects dirt on the carpet.
Both the Q5 and the Q7 Max Series get very excellent scores in our floor tests that test for bare floors, and they're particularly adept in removing pet hair. However, they do have a few flaws however, which prevent them from being our first choice. One of them is that the Q5's navigation system doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance, so it's prone to getting hung up on socks and shoes and couldn't navigate tightly packed rooms very well in our tests. It also doesn't have cameras that let it see the corners of the room.

The only thing it doesn't have that you can't find in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming on floors that aren't clean. It's also less effective at mopping, using disposable wet wipes, which don't stick on for long and don't deal with dried-on debris. The Q5 has a self-emptying cradle however. If you need to clean the mopping pad, it can be replaced with one that is wet in just a few minutes.
