1. Roomba Q5 Pro
The Q5 Pro, and its more expensive sibling the Q7 Max Series are among the most powerful robotic vacuums we've examined. They are equipped with motors that are top-of-the class and can handle up to 5,500 Pascals. Like other top iRobot models (including the top pick) they employ smart mapping technology to create detailed floor plans and avoid home-based obstacles like cords and furniture legs. They also have carpet boost which boosts the robot vacuums best's power when it sees an abundance of dirt on the carpet to get it cleaned up quickly.
The Q5 and Q7 Max Series both scored very well in our tests on floors that were bare, and Robot Hoover they are particularly adept in removing hair from dogs. However, they have a few flaws that keep them from being our top pick. One of them is that the Q5's navigation system doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance, so it's prone to become entangled in socks and shoes and couldn't navigate tight spaces very well in our tests. It also doesn't have cameras that let it see the corners of an area.
Still, it's very good for those who want to save money on an Roomba from iRobot, and you have a mostly bare-floor home or office. Plus, it's very quiet and can work when you're at work or school. It doesn't have the edge-to-edge floor vacuuming feature that's available in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30. It's also less effective in mopping. It is dependent on disposable wet wipes that don't adhere well and isn't able to handle dried-on debris. The Q5 is self-emptying cradle that can be emptied by itself. If you need to clean the mopping pad, it can be replaced with one that is wet in just a few just a few seconds.

Its flex arm is also great for getting under furniture that is low and along baseboards. However, it's not equipped with the same level of washboard performance as our other Editors' Choice picks, the Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo N8 Pro+ as well as the iRobot Combo j9+.
During tests, the X30 Ultra was the fastest robot vacuum/mop that could complete the entire house with only 66 percent of its battery left. It did a great cleaning job on various floors and rooms with different flooring types including certain area carpets. Its obstacle detection was excellent, and it avoided fake dog turds and socks, shoes and bundles of cables.

This is due to a mix of high-tech sensors, including a structured light system, camera, and a variety of lasers. iRobot RX3
The RX3 is a smarter cleaner than you would think from its price. It's a pro at vacuuming, removing 55% of the debris that was found in our tests (it was second only to the Roomba Q5 Pro). It also mops with one pad, which uses a reciprocating motion, which does a better job cleaning than the other robot mop cleaners we've tested. And it's highly self-sufficient with a full-featured application and a self-emptying, washable base.
The well-designed iRobot app will guide you through an initial mapping exercise that collects information about your floorplan and any "no-go" areas you set on the map. It can be used to create cleaning schedules or set up a spot-clean. It can also be used to it to rank your most filthy areas for greater efficiency. The app also gives access to many features like seasonal suggestions, custom maps and advanced settings for your cleaning.
It also has the ability to reach corners and under furniture better because its shape is more rectangular. It also has a strong suction of 8,000 Pascal suction and combs with intelligent technology for pet hair. And you can create a spot-clean that thoroughly cleans a particular area.
The Miele Scout RX3 Home Vision HD is a more sleek and less expensive alternative to the iRobot Roomba. It's got a more attractive style, much like Dolce & Gabbana. The twin cameras are designed to resemble cute eyes. It is capable of vacuuming but is more prone to get caught on low thresholds and is noisier than the other top robot vacuums we've examined. It also comes with an app that's not as intuitive, and a smaller base station that can't double as a bin for emptying.
