How To Explain Item Upgrader To A 5-Year-Old
The Importance of Upgrades in World of Warcraft
Upgrades are a brand new type of item that gives an increase in your stats. They can be used to upgrade your armor, trinkets and weapons.
Item upgrades use a system called "upgrade pity" to calculate probabilities. This system is designed to minimize the risk of losing money and offer an insurance policy when you upgrade.
Armor
The item upgrader provides players the ability to upgrade the levels of their armor, weapons and trinkets. The upgrade is applied to the equipment when you visit an upgrader NPC with the appropriate currency. The upgrade of an item will upgrade the stats on that item.
This NPC can be found in all major cities and is located in the city's corner square, near a teleport point. The NPC can upgrade any weapon, armor, or trinket except for those that require a quest, or crafting.
Note: The item you use to apply an upgrade will be consumed for the duration of time. It is not possible to apply multiple upgrades to a piece. If you attempt to do this the previous upgrade will be overwritten.
The process of upgrading your equipment is a great way to make the most of your gear, and increase the damage, durability, and overall power. If you own Benthic gear that you obtained from the War Within Mythic Dungeon it will be at ilvl 385 and is upgradeable by using [Prismatic Manapearlsor [Prismatic manapearls]. Upgrades to your PvE gear are available to all accounts. Upgrades to your PvP equipment require a specific currency such as [Valorstones] and [Harbinger Crests(Harbinger Crests). The amount of Valorstones needed to upgrade other pieces of gear within an armor slot is reduced after the first upgrade for that gear.
Weapons
Weapons are a crucial element of any successful character, whether used to deter a murderous creature, kill an intruder, win a shooting competition or simply hang on a wall. Whatever way you decide on using a particular weapon, you should be aware that it's possible to upgrade it and will evolve depending on your style of play.
You can upgrade weapons by visiting a blacksmith who has a workbench for weapons. The Blacksmith Hewg, which is located in the right section of the Roundtable Hold hub, is an excellent choice to upgrade your weapon. There is also a Smithing Master called Iji located in the "Road to the Manor" Site of Grace in the northwestern region of Liurna of the Lakes. Smithing Master Iji improves armor and weapons.
As a general rule upgrading a weapon will raise the level of its weapon by 5. Azerite weapons (see below) or other weapons that are special will increase the ilvl by 15 for all upgrades. A player can only have one upgrade active at a time. If you try to upgrade a weapon while another upgrade is applied the upgrade will fail and your weapon will return to its original level.
Upgrades don't just boost the item level upgrade level but also provide it with additional stats that can be used to boost its effectiveness. Some of these improvements will be purely passive while others may provide increased damage, speedier attack, improved range or critical strike chance.
Ashes of War weapons are rewarded when certain bosses of raid are defeated. Whetblades are rare items that unlock new Affinities for weapons.
Once a weapon has been fully upgraded it will continue to receive additional upgrades in the event that the player has the appropriate upgrade materials and currency in hand. It's important to note that weapons can only be upgraded up to a maximum of 25. Therefore, players should only upgrade their weapons after they've obtained the maximum number of upgrades from regular and Whetblade items.
Trinkets
Trinkets are a special item that offer a variety of Boosts. They can be upgraded like any other equipment through direct interaction with the item level upgrade Upgrader.
Stardew Valley is the place where you can find an upgrade tool for items. To use it, first you must remove any weapons or armor. Once you have done that, the NPC will appear with the red "Equipped" banner on his head.
You can upgrade your weapon or armor by choosing him. To accomplish this, you need to bring the appropriate items and currency to the NPC. When you do, the NPC will upgrade your gear, boosting its stats by one level.
A trinket can be a small, cheap piece of jewelry or ornament. The word trinket could be is derived from the Old English term trenket which is a reference to "three cornered sail." This could be a reference to an old three-cornered sailing sail which was a part of a ship's foremast, or, as some researchers suggest an imaginary blade that a child would wear as an ornament.
Trinkets, unlike equipment are not reforged. If you have multiple trinket upgrades in your inventory, the highest-valued upgrade items will remain and the lower-level upgrade will be overwritten.
Each trinket can be upgraded to be upgraded beyond the standard upgrade. These can increase an item's effectiveness, but might require more materials and/or skills to acquire. Some are obtained by interacting with a NPC in a quest, while others are available as drop from dungeons and battlegrounds.
The Item Upgrader NPC can be found in a variety of locations throughout the game. Locations are displayed on the map. Some NPCs only offer upgrades for specific kinds of equipment, whereas others allow you to upgrade any type of item. Some NPCs provide additional benefits to those who complete their quests. The NPC at Shattering Rift gives players a new toy if they destroy the Ancient Beast. Similarly, the NPC at Eastern Guard Tower offers a unique trinket for players who beat the Ancient Beast.
Set Pieces
A set piece is a pivotal scene that enhances a film and stays with audiences long after the credits roll. It can be a scene involving action, emotion, or even simply a visual display. Set pieces are a staple of movie magic and must be carefully executed to achieve the desired effect. Mission Impossible is a great example of how set pieces can have an impact on viewers.
Set pieces are employed in professional soccer to define the time when a ball is returned to play by via a kick, throw-in or any other formal method. Corners, indirect free kicks, direct free kicks and goal kicks all fall under this category. Teams will take advantage of these situations by positioning players in a spot where they can receive the ball, forcing defenders into alertness and adjusting their assignments in line with the situation. This could include aerial duels, crossing or other forms of delivery and of course, head goals.
In the film industry the set piece is essential to a scene that requires meticulous logistical planning and considerable expense to carry out. These scenes are considered essential to the overall story and cannot be changed or removed without compromising the integrity of the entire film. Some notable set pieces include a chase sequence, a dramatic explosion or even a car crash.
The process of upgrading, or upping, as it is sometimes referred to is to transform a normal, rare, set, or unique item into an elite variant of the same item. This is accomplished by purchasing an upgrade component from the upgrade menu, and then slotting it into an upgraded base item.
This unlocks all stats that were restricted to the requirements of the base item, or maxed-out version. These enhanced stats make the upgraded version more valuable than the base counterpart. Below are the tables that show the defense rolls maximum for each upgraded version and their upgrade requirements.
There are exceptions to the rule. For example when an item has inherently high requirements that limit its usage (take Whistan's shield for FB sorcs as an example), or if an item has a low base stat, which can be upgraded to an ideal or high roll, it will only be able to see limited usage and therefore gain little value.
