World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades boost the value of certain numeric stats on weapons, armor and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as Crit chance and PvE Damage.

If the template for upgrading a weapon is %, it will gain 3percent of its previous attack damage every time it's upgraded.

Item upgrading costs crests and the item's current level. The cost increases as the item level rises.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be put into armor, weapons and trinkets to provide an extra stat boost or impact while they're being used. These can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from vendors, trading with other players or looting. Certain upgrades have unique cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can be placed in equipment that has a slot to accommodate them; the item must have been at the very least upgraded to blue level to allow a component to be applied. Like other mods, Item upgrading upgrade components can only be used once; they can't be used multiple times or replaced with new upgrades. Infusions and Enrichments are a type of upgrade component used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or Ascended equipment, as well as some non-ascended items. Infusions and enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment from the ascended state or completing a mission in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade could include a suffix or prefix, modifying the name of the item to the upgrade (for instancethe "Canthan Armor Insignia is changed to Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity, allowing players create stronger versions of that equipment with the smallest amount of Upgrade Crystals than is required to achieve the same level of upgrade through normal methods.

A 'boost upgrade' can alter the attack or defense attributes of a weapon or armor. After the player has completed the cutscene and defeated Crazed Mechanist These upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades are available for purchase them from the cash shop or obtaining them from enemies when upgrading other equipment.

Each upgrade increases the probability that a higher tier version of an item will be dropped during the next reset. This gives players a reason to upgrade their equipment even when they're not sure how much it will be improved following a reset.

Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process may be costly, and there is a substantial risk that the item may become obsolete or even break when it fails; a failed upgrade will ruin Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item upgrader. Cash shop items can be used to decrease or eliminate the chance of failure. Some upgrades also give the player a bonus if they are they are reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs boost the power of nodes within a radius, including any pre-existing affixes. Glyphs can be upgraded in various ways, and we recommend getting them to level 15 whenever you can.

In the endgame you'll often discover that the best way to enhance your equipment is to use Glyphs. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded directly to level 15, and they provide an enormous boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to climb higher nodes faster.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced, but Glyphs are the only upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without any restrictions. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires the use of a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and re-place.

Each Glyph has a certain range of values it can improve a statistic by. The value is displayed when you choose the Glyph in your inventory. You can choose to replace it with a different Glyph of the same rank or higher rank, which will increase the value of the glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of the Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use and also during Faction Crypt Raids. Each Faction Crypt can drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs which you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have the desired Glyphs then you need to place them on your equipment. Each Glyph unlocks a unique bonus that can boost a particular set of stat nodes within a radius around the Glyph. Based on the Glyph it could be +40 to one of your primary stats, or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Glyphs will boost all nodes connected to them, which is why it is recommended to place Glyphs in the most important spots on the Graph. This will increase the impact. Druids, for example, should place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might be able to place them near their primary damage nodes.

Leveling

The item upgrading system allows players to increase the effectiveness of certain items by placing upgraded components inside them. This is referred to as "upping". Each upgradeable item has a level that determines the final stats. Upgraded items may be leveled to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each level of an item requires a different amount of components, and the upgrade costs increase as the item is upgraded.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by finishing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or purchased from some NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe completed will result in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to level the item. Once enough are earned, the upgrade can be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When an item is upgraded by a player to a higher level, the original item is replaced by a new item of the same kind. The same armor will receive a weapon or a shield when upgraded. The new item comes with its own set bonus. This can be a disadvantage in that it could cause the item to become more expensive if you don't require it.

Upgrades to items can be rerolled if the player has enough tokens in order to do so. The item upgrader mod will be replaced with an entirely new item that has a base of level 1 and completely different bonuses. This is useful for certain items, but it shouldn't be repeated often, as it can use up a lot of resources.

Certain upgrades can be rerolled multiple times to increase their value, allowing the player to customize their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, since it grants an increase in power if the player repeatedly enters or exits water. This item can be upgraded multiple times by increasing the maximum roll every time by 10 increments. This item is highly useful in PvP. A properly rolled version could be worth up to 50x the value of a non-upgraded counterpart.

Requirements

Item upgrading allows players to increase the level of their equippable equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets over ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate items and currency to an NPC who upgrades items. The upgrade of armor set pieces will also boost the defense base of the piece, whereas upgrading weapon equipment will increase the damage base as well as the required strength and dexterity to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

All items can be upgraded a maximum of five times, except for hero gear, which can have eight upgrades. Each when you upgrade an item it has the chance to fail. The failure rate increases the farther you exceed the maximum number of upgrades. Failures can cause the item to return to its original condition, which requires the player to purchase more items than if they stopped upgrading after the maximum number.

If an item is not able to upgrade the amount of experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it earned like crit chance, attack damage, or other effects (such as an increase in healing over time or the speed of reloading). However, the player can still continue to use the weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item level upgrade is upgraded the upgrades are applied in order from the lowest to the highest. This means that when a weapon gains an increase in the chance of crit, the increase is applied prior to any increase in attack damage. A new attribute called Slots has been added to the definition of the item and the value is calculated every time an upgrade is made.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is based on its rarity rating and upgrade slot count. The cost of upgrading non-premium items is equal to the base value of the upgrade--for instance, a typical equipment item level upgrade may have five upgrades, each costing 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items have lower costs per upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading in comparison to standard equipment. For instance, they might require fewer sowels but more minerals and erons. The player will need to bring each piece of gear they wish to upgrade to the NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each equipment upgrade requires different amounts of ingredients needed to upgrade, in addition to the expenses listed above.
