iRobot recommends that you tidy the area around the i3+ EVO vacuums prior to using it. This includes putting away any toys or clutter it might come across. It is also recommended to keep the filters and dust bin free of dirt to prevent them from becoming clogged. When the i3+ EVO's internal bin is full or its battery is low, it returns to its docking station, automatically emptying its trash into the station's dust bin and then resumes cleaning the area where it began. In our testing the i7+ was faster and more maneuverable than our second-placed model which was the eufy RoboVac G30, and it took large pieces of pet hair from all surface types, including carpeting. The main advantage it has over the Eufy is its self-emptying garbage bin that eliminates the main sources of maintenance and lowers the cost of recurring maintenance.

We were also impressed with the i7+’s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. We used these services to instruct the robot to start or stop cleaning sessions and also to move around the room, and to vacuum a particular area. Connecting the i7+ to these services was easy and straightforward through the iRobot Home app. We were able, once connected, to speak commands to the i7+ such as "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options to manage i7+ settings and monitoring the performance.

3. Dyson Cyclone V10

This tiny Dyson model is a sports car in a world of vacuums with cords that feel like minivans and buses. It has the power and features to replace a stand-up vacuum bot for most households and can fit in well next to a coffee table or on the bookshelf, that you can spin around like the magic wand.
